The brief
A large family home with a heat pump and sea spray on every surface. Sofia wanted enough storage to run the evening from the battery.
What we fitted
Twenty-four panels on stainless, marine-grade slate hooks, a 10 kW inverter and a 13.5 kWh battery in the garage.
Twelve months on
The battery covers the house until about 11pm from April to September. Winter yield is lower, as forecast, and the heat pump runs on cheap night rates.
